Lotus and Pork ribs soup


  • 300g pork ribs
  • 100g lotus
  • 3g slice ginger
  • 5g wolfberries (杞子)
  • 5g barley
  • 1 tsp hua tiao wine
  • 1 tsp pepper 花椒
  • 1 tbsp Chicken powder
  • 1.5 ml water


  1. Slice lotus and soak into water to prevent darkening.
  2. Soak the barley and wolf berries for 1 hour.
  3. Add pork rib into boil water for 2 mins to remove dirty blood and set aside/
  4. Add ginger , hau tiao wine, pork rib into 1.5ml water.
  5. When the water is boiling, turn to low heat and cook for 15 mins.
  6. Done.
