Hua Tiao wine chicken rice noodle


  • 300g Chicken thigh
  • 2 rice noodles
  • 1 Tbsp sesame oil
  • 5-6  slice ginger
  • 1/2 Tbsp Brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 100ml hua tiao wine
  • 1 Tsp wolfberry (枸杞)
  • 1 piece Dang Gui (當歸)
  • 1 piece astragalus root (黄耆)
  • minced garlic ( 1 clove)
  • 450ml water
  • any kind of vegetables

For marinated

  • 1 Tbsp Hua Tiao wine
  • 1 Tbsp Soy sauce



  1. Marinated the chicken for 10 mins
  2. Heat sesame oil in claypot.
  3. Add sliced ginger and stir fry until fragrant.
  4. Add chicken and stir fry until golden brown.
  5. Add sugar and soy sauce.
  6. Add hua tiao wine and bring it to boil.
  7. Add wolfberry, Dang Gui, astragalus root and minced garlic.
  8. pour 450ml water and lid on for 10 mins with medium low heat.
  9. Add 1 tsp hua tiao wine before serve with boiled noodles and steamed vegetables.
